Date of Service Payment Posting

Taking a payment during the time of service can be quick and easy!

The below steps offer a guide for taking client payments.

In this Article:


From the Dashboard

  • Click on the appointment, opening the appointment details popup
  • Click the top right button:

  • Enter the payment type, amount, and confirm the details of the payment
  • Click the  button, verify the details, then  button and specify the payment method (saved card or enter new card details)

From the Schedule

  • Click on the appointment, opening the appointment details popup
  • Click the top right button:

  • Enter the payment type, amount, and confirm the details of the payment
  • Click the  button, verify the details, then  button and specify the payment method (saved card or enter new card details)

From the Billing Tab

  • Click Clients (left menu)
  • Click on the client name
  • Select Billing (top tab):
  • Locate the invoice number for the date the client is paying and click on the date.
  • On the right menu, click the button, opening a new screen to enter the payment:
  • Enter the payment type, amount, and confirm the details of the payment
  • Click the  button, verify the details, then button and specify the payment method (saved card or enter new card details)

Client Payments: Multiple Dates

It is also possible to accept payments from a client for multiple session dates.

  • Click Billing & Insurance from the left-hand menu
  • Click the  button (top right)
  • Enter the patient and therapist, click
  • Enter the total payment amount/ type of payment/date of payment 
    • Apply payment information to each visit, if necessary
  • Click the  button, then  button and specify the payment method (saved card or enter new card details)
