Adjustment, Writeoff, and Probono
Oftentimes adding an Adjustment is necessary. Follow these steps to locate and manage client billing adjustments, including write-offs and probono work.

Add an Adjustment
To add an adjustment, follow these steps:
- Clients (left menu)
- Locate and select the client name
- Select Billing (top tab)
- Locate and click the desired Date of Service (or description)
- Click the wrench icon, to the right, within the line item details:
- Under the section "Manage Adjustment" select the adjustment type:
- Edit / Change the Label if needed (this is displayed within the client portal)

Note: Changing the label will not change how the adjustment is displayed in the Income Report.
- Enter the Adjustment Amount
- Click Save once complete

Edit or Delete an Adjustment
To edit or delete an adjustment, please follow these steps:
- Clients (left menu)
- Locate and select the client name
- Select Billing (top tab)
- Locate and click the desired Date of Service (or description)
- Click on the listed adjustment, or the pencil icon to the far right:
- From here, you can either edit the adjustment type, amount, or click delete to remove at the bottom:
